Natural Marble Shaving Bowl

Wow! This is a beautiful bowl. The stone used is really nice looking. I love that there's some translucent parts in it (I'm not sure if the pictures caught it). It's unique looking. One thing I will note is that it isn't very thick. I have a feeling if this drops on a hard surface, it will easily break. The moral of the story - be careful with it. Now, I need to decide what to do with it. It's so nice, I don't think I want to use it as a shave bowl and get it all dirty (well, soapy). I may just sit it on my desk and put paper clips in it or something like that. That way I can see it more often to appreciate it. Overall, I am a fan.

I initially bought this to store a shaving puck in and lather in the same bowl. Unfortunately, it's a bit high-walled for a standard sized puck to fit in (Photo 1), but I can see smaller pucks fitting in this, or it could make a good bowl for purely lathering shaving cream in without storing a full puck. It's polished marble with no grooves so it might be a little too slippery for many shavers. Photo 3 compares this to another specialized honed marble shaving soap bowl that I have from another company - it's wider and shallower than this one, which lends itself better for shaving. It's a very pretty bowl though, so I might just use it mainly for ornamental purposes rather than in the bathroom (see Photo 2).

So I actually got this for a manicure bowl, I thought it would be a little bit bigger than it is but it is SO NICE. There is a little padded like grip almost on the bottom that is secured very well to the bowl. That is really nice because with the texture of the bowl if you put it on a sink on water without that pad it would be easy to slip off! So I love that it has that nice padded bottom. It comes with a business card for any questions/issue with the product as well. It is a nice weight and the pattern/texture is absolutely STUNNING! It has a perfect weight to it I was very impressed with the quality of this stone bowl, I absolutely love this and how sophisticated it looks. This is the correct color, correct item and the bottom grip is such a great touch. It arrived in perfect condition the manufacturer of the Bork had it in a plastic then in styrofoam then a box to ensure it stayed put and didn’t break. My only complaint is it’s a little on the small size and had a weird like residue from maybe a sticker or something on it but I think it will come off. I’m so excited to take this to the salon for manicures!!! My customers are going to think it’s so nice too!Update it doesn’t hold the water heat very long but still works great.

I bought this bowl because of the color. I had other options but chose to go with this shop. Bowl seams to be good quality but it is green, not black as it states in the description.

This totally matches my kitchen Corian countertops and it’s marble, so this was a no-brainer shopping decision. The price was incredible so I was a little hesitant whether it was actually marble, but it is, and it’s heavy but not too heavy since it’s a smaller bowl. I’m usually mine as a salt cellar for course-ground Himalayan salts and will also use for sauces or dips.*** Helpful? I rely on customer reviews for all my online purchases, so I hope so! ***
